Safetyline Jalousie Louvre Windows were an integral part of the design for this new Year 7 building at Morayfield State High School located 44km north of Brisbane.
An important objective for the building was to maximise cross-ventilation to reduce the reliance on air conditioning and therefore minimise school operating costs. The use of Safetyline Jalousie’s louvre windows has created a more comfortable learning environment for both students and teachers.
Security was also a primary concern. With an impenetrable security system, Safetyline Jalousie louvres can remain open all the time, allowing maximum use of natural ventilation 24 hours a day. The fully sealed nature of Safetyline Jalousie’s louvre windows, something not found in many louvre window systems, was an added feature that was appealing.
