The Grand Hotel at Labrador showcases Safetyline Jalousie’s aluminium and glass combination louvre windows. Safetyline Jalousie was selected for the popular Queensland pub in conjunction with the Vergola opening and closing louvre roof system. The owners of the venue were expanding the outdoor areas, and the idea was to create a large outdoor room that could be opened in the warm weather to capture the sun and the sea breezes but could also be closed and fully secure outside of trading hours.
Rather than building walls, banks of Safetyline Jalousie louvre windows were fitted from floor to ceiling (or floor to Vergola) and wrapped around the perimeter of the entire area. It was a cost-effective solution which included considerable savings on the installation. Once the Vergola and framing was completed, the pre-fabricated louvre windows were quickly and easily fitted into the openings. The space created is a vibrant dining area set amongst manicured gardens with breathtaking broadwater views.
