Located within the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanical Gardens, this specialised arts and ecology centre provides the community with space for workshops, gatherings, and cultural meetings. The building exemplifies sustainable architecture with solar power generation, rainwater harvesting, and sustainable materials, maximizing natural ventilation and cooling breezes instead of air conditioning.
Safetyline Jalousie louvre windows were selected for their impenetrable security system—essential for installations at both high and low levels throughout the Centre—and weatherproof seals that protect against inclement weather. The louvres’ large widths also provided strong aesthetic composition when combined with regular glazed windows, supporting the Centre’s emphasis on ecologically sustainable design.
