At 100 Harris Street Pyrmont, the introduction of hi-lite Safetyline Jalousie louvres plays a central role in revitalising the building’s expansive internal footprint. Integrated high within the atrium, the louvres filter natural light deep into the structure, illuminating original timber and brick elements while reducing glare. Their automated operation supports passive ventilation by allowing warm air to escape through the upper levels, helping stabilise internal temperatures across the six-storey volume.
The powder-coated frames were carefully colour-matched to blend seamlessly with the refreshed interior detailing, complementing the industrial character of the space. With air- and water-tight sealing essential for the building’s exposed façade conditions, Safetyline Jalousie louvres provided the performance, durability, and environmental control required for this significant adaptive reuse project.
