Education
Durable, high-performance louvres that enhance natural ventilation and longevity across classrooms and campus buildings.
In educational environments, natural ventilation plays a crucial role in creating spaces that are healthy, safe, and conducive to learning.
Safetyline Jalousie louvres deliver airflow levels far superior to traditional window types, enhancing indoor air quality and connection to the outdoors.
Their inbuilt strength and secure design allow continuous cross-ventilation without compromising student safety, making them a preferred choice for classrooms, libraries, and multi-purpose learning areas that balance functionality with design integrity.
Cannon Hill Anglican College
Designed to enhance natural ventilation and student wellbeing, Safetyline Jalousie louvres form an integral part of the environmental strategy at Cannon Hill Anglican College. Integrated across the multi-level building, the louvres deliver continuous passive airflow to classrooms, breakout zones, and circulation areas, helping maintain comfortable indoor conditions throughout the year. Their inbuilt security and robust design make them particularly suited to school environments, providing ventilation without compromising the safety requirements of an active learning setting.
The clear anodised frames and green-tinted glass were selected to blend seamlessly with the building’s soft, bushland-inspired palette and its connection to the surrounding landscape. With air- and water-tight sealing that performs under varying weather conditions, Safetyline Jalousie louvres deliver durability, ventilation efficiency, and design consistency, supporting the College’s commitment to functional, flexible, and environmentally responsive learning spaces.

Estella Public School
Estella Public School is part of School Infrastructure NSW’s building program using Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA). This approach combines off-site manufacturing with on-site assembly, delivering quality schools faster with less environmental impact and community disruption.
Nearly 200 Safetyline Jalousie louvre windows were supplied as prefabricated units with 6.38mm laminate safety glass and integrated security features. Manufactured with precise dimensions and pre-drilled fixing holes, the windows enabled rapid installation, reducing on-site trades, noise, and construction costs.

Pulteney Grammar Middle School
JPE Design Studio and South Australian Anglican Schools worked with Safetyline Jalousie to create a distinctive façade as the campus’s key design element. The western façade features automated louvre windows that provide ventilation and views over the quadrangle, complementing the light, airy learning environments throughout the building.
The design used a combination of randomly placed glass and custom flat blade aluminium louvres, powder coated in various blue and green hues to create a striking mosaic effect. Beyond aesthetics, the system addressed critical safety concerns including fall prevention and impact risks, with full certification from accredited testing laboratories—demonstrating how innovative design can create inspirational educational spaces without compromising safety.
